NGK iridium plugs represent the ultimate evolution of spark plug technology and performance. The iridium center electrode is both stronger and harder than platinum. This tapered cut iridium center electrode reduces the voltage requirement for spark. This allows for a brighter, stronger spark from your existing ignition system.
Description
A platinum tipped ground electrode further contributes toward the extreme longevity of this plug. NGK traditional plugs are constructed for longer life and optimum performance. Corrugated ribs prevent flashover. NGK uses only the purest alumina silicate in its ceramic insulator which give all NGK plugs greater strength and better heat transfer. Copper cored and triple sealed to further aid in heat removal and prevent interior leakage. Solid terminal top cannot be removed. Some application require a solid top due to its greater durability than an aluminum terminal nut and will not unscrew under high vibration conditions.
